Privacy Policy
Wallet is a money tracker for Android made by Minute Campus (“we”). This page explains what Wallet keeps, where it is kept, who else handles it, and how you can export or delete it. Questions: wallet@minutecampus.com.
What Wallet keeps
- What you enter: accounts and their balances, records (amounts, dates, categories, notes, labels), transfers, debts, templates, categories and your settings.
- Your profile: the name you type and, if you add one, a profile photo.
- If you sign in: your email address. With Google sign-in, also the name, profile picture link and account ID that Google shares when you agree.
Wallet does not collect your location, contacts, device identifiers or usage analytics, and it contains no advertising or tracking code.
Where it is kept
Without an account
Everything stays in Wallet’s storage on your phone. It is not sent anywhere and is not included in Android’s cloud backup. Uninstalling Wallet deletes it.
With an account (Back Up & Sync)
A copy of your Wallet data and your profile photo is kept on our server, run by Supabase on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, India, so that you can sign in on another phone and get it back. Each person’s data is kept apart: the server only lets your own signed-in account read or change it. Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is encrypted where it is stored.
Permissions Wallet asks for
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet | To check for and download updates, and to sign in and back up and sync if you choose to. |
| Camera and photos | Only when you pick or take a profile photo. Wallet sees the one photo you choose. |
| Install apps | Only to install a Wallet update you’ve agreed to. |
| Fingerprint or screen lock | For App Lock, if you turn it on. Android checks your fingerprint; Wallet only learns whether it matched. |
Who else handles your data
We use these services only to run Wallet, and they may use your data only for that:
- Supabase (with Amazon Web Services): stores your synced data and photo, and handles sign-in.
- Resend: delivers the sign-in emails, so it sees your email address. Wallet doesn’t track whether emails are opened or links are clicked.
- Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”, to confirm who you are.
- GitHub: hosts Wallet’s downloads and updates. When you download Wallet or it checks for an update, your phone connects to GitHub, which sees your IP address as any website would. No Wallet data is sent.
- Cloudflare: serves this website. It sets no cookies for us and we run no analytics on it.
We don’t sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it for anything other than running Wallet for you. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.
How long it is kept
Your data is kept until you delete it. When you delete your account, your data, photo and sign-in are removed from our server straight away; any copies in the server’s routine backups are gone within 30 days.
Your choices
- Export: Profile → Your Data → Export My Data gives you everything as files.
- Delete: Profile → Your Data → Delete Account removes your account and all its data. Without an account, Delete All Data empties your phone. You can also ask us to delete your account by email.
- Sign out: your data stays in your account and is removed from that phone.
- Ask us: to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email wallet@minutecampus.com. We reply within 30 days.
Children
Wallet is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly keep data from them. If you think a child has signed in, email us and we will delete the account.
Changes
If we change what Wallet keeps or how, we will update this page and its date before the change reaches the app.
